Terms of Service

These Terms govern the provision of catering services by Offerhinge (trading as Offerhinge Catering Pty Ltd) in Australia. By accepting a proposal or placing an order you agree to our terms including deposit, payment schedules, site access and responsibility for permits and venue rules.

  • Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Confirmed bookings require the agreed deposit and signed acceptance.
  • Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days prior for standard events; other lead times may apply.

Privacy & Data Handling (Australia)

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Personal data collected for bookings and communications is used to provide services, manage bookings, process payments and comply with legal obligations.

Food Safety & Allergens

Offerhinge complies with Australian and state food safety regulations. Our team follows temperature control, cross-contamination prevention and safe transport practices. We provide allergen information and can accommodate dietary requirements including vegan and halal menus when requested.

  • Allergen information is provided on quotes and menus; clients must notify known allergies.
  • We maintain records required by local health authorities and conduct regular staff training.
  • We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment when the venue or client supplies ingredients.
Kitchen and food safety

Cancellations, Refunds & Consumer Rights

We aim to be fair and transparent. Cancellation terms depend on event size, lead time and supplier commitments. Below are common scenarios; specific terms are in your confirmation.

Deposits may be refunded less administrative and supplier charges. Exact refunds are confirmed on receipt of cancellation.

Late cancellations are subject to higher fees and may be non-refundable where third-party suppliers are committed.

Consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply. If services are not supplied with due care and skill, we will seek to remedy the issue, provide a refund or other remedy as appropriate.
Events and refunds

Offerhinge operates across Greater Sydney and broader New South Wales with options for interstate events upon request. Delivery, setup and travel charges depend on location and event logistics. Travel and parking must be organised where required by the venue.

Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia. Parties will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith. If unresolved, matters may be referred to mediation or relevant tribunals under Australian Consumer Law.

If you believe we have breached applicable law, contact us first to allow internal resolution. You may also seek advice from the NSW Fair Trading or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

If you wish to make a complaint about our service or request access to personal information, please use the form. We log all complaints and acknowledge each within 2 business days.
